About Me
- Name: lynnfredd
- Location: Seattle, WA, United States
Caught the yarn bug when holed up in London. Trying to work through my Rowan binge so I can have space in my room again....not that I'm complaining.
British words I like better than their American counterpart:
"cheers" instead of thanks/your welcome/see ya/I agree with you/I think you look attractive in that hat/thanks for the cigarette"
“make way” instead of “yield”
"take away” instead of “to go”
“fancy” instead of “strongly attracted to”
Quote of the moment:
"Um, I heard you were looking for chapstick at the magazine shop a while ago, and I just bought some at the duty-free store. It was, um, Elizabeth Arden" ~ Considerate blushing guy from SFO International airport.
