At this moment, there are three men in my flat, one in each bathroom, simultaneously staring at the toilets with the tank lids off. Permission to find that weird?

Caught the yarn bug when holed up in London. Trying to work through my Rowan binge so I can have space in my room again....not that I'm complaining.
British words I like better than their American counterpart:
"cheers" instead of thanks/your welcome/see ya/I agree with you/I think you look attractive in that hat/thanks for the cigarette"
“make way” instead of “yield”
"take away” instead of “to go”
“fancy” instead of “strongly attracted to”
